Landon Knoblock is a New York City-based composer crafting bold, immersive scores for film, television, and media. Known for his distinctive sound, he brings a deep sense of narrative and emotion to every project.

His music has been featured in the Apple TV+ series Servant from M. Night Shyamalan and the limited series Before, starring Billy Crystal. You can also hear his work in Franklin, the Tim Van Patten-directed series with Michael Douglas in the title role. Other recent projects include The Crowded Room (Apple TV+), starring Tom Holland and Amanda Seyfried; Sony Pictures’ slasher Heart Eyes, directed by Josh Ruben; and the feature film The Friend, starring Naomi Watts and Bill Murray.

Knoblock’s innovative approach extends to documentary film, where his experimental textures and unconventional instrumentation bring powerful stories to life. His score for The Cure for Hate: Bearing Witness to Auschwitz underscores former Holocaust denier Tony McAleer’s emotional journey of atonement, while Devil Put The Coal in the Ground reimagines Appalachian strings into modern classical elegies, exploring the devastation caused by the coal industry. His work also appears in Totally Under Control and The Crime of the Century, both from Academy Award-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney.

Beyond composing, Knoblock has led masterclasses at NYU Steinhardt, the University of Miami, and Ball State University. A jazz pianist with a BM and MM from the University of Miami, he has performed at The Blue Note (NYC), Umbria Jazz Festival (Italy), and Art Basel (Miami).
